Rehab Packages

The NFPA 1584 Rehab Standard requires that departments develop Standard Operating Procedures for the establishment of Rehab. Nine elements of Rehab are to be included in the SOP: calorie and electrolyte replacement, medical monitoring, EMS treatment as needed, responder accountability, release procedures, relief from climatic conditions,rest and recovery, Active and/or passive cooling or warming as needed, and rehydration (fluid replacement).
