Having personnel in the immediate release area handling all spills requires these individuals to be specifically trained. They require practical knowledge and skill sets on how to properly contain, clean, and discard any released chemical, how to limit the volume of chemicals available, and how to properly use spill cleanup kits. DQE has developed an onsite, comprehensive, in-hospital spill training package that will simplify the way your hospital staff handles chemical releases. This package includes:

• Onsite Chemical Awareness, Personal Protective Equipment, and Spill Cleanup Training for up to 25 staff members (4-hour course; 2 classes per day available)
• In-house Spill Policy Development (reviewing/revising your current policy or providing you with a pre-written policy)
• Six Customized Spill Kits (Pads, Booms, Putty, Hazardous Waste Labels, and Disposal Bucket)
• Lifetime Support Services (quarterly newsletter, electronic informational updates, and phone support)
