OverviewDQE-On-Demand® is a subscription-based, internet training program that employs animation, video and audio to communicate knowledge and demonstrate skills clearly and effectively. For less than the cost of one session of onsite training a hospital can provide its staff with a learning tool that can be accessed anywhere, anytime, by anyone they chose. Individual modules range from 15-30 minutes. Learning is standardized, self-paced, and comprehensive. DQE-On-Demand was developed in response to requests by hospitals for an efficient, affordable means to provide ongoing emergency readiness training of their staff. Although many hospitals have received some degree of training over the years (decon, WMD, ICS, etc.) they struggle with making it available ongoing to all staff that need the training (especially those working nights and weekends). View printer friendly Capability Overview CurriculumHospital-based Decon (Awareness & Operations) This program focuses on implementing and sustaining an emergency decontamination program and includes all of the knowledge-base requirements to help meet OSHA certification to the First Responder Awareness and Operations levels. The program provides step-by-step instruction on setting up a decon area, donning and doffing personal protective equipment, patient decontamination procedures, chemical identification, and incident management. Training is applicable to any hospital regardless of its make of decontamination equipment or style of personal protective gear. View printer friendly version of DQE-on-Demand Decon Module Descriptions Hospital Incident Command System (IS100-HC, 200.a-HC & 700.a) This program is a practical, intuitive, and comprehensive eLearning program that provides hospitals with the information and insight needed to make ICS an integral part of their hospital’s routine emergency management operation. Topics range from emergency management, planning and program implementation to ICS command structure, activation, and decision making. Case studies and helpful examples are distributed throughout each animated module to ensure better understanding and enhance confidence in the material. Training is NIMS compliant and can be used for FEMA certification.
