HICS Training

NIMS is the required incident organizational structure for the management of all incidents. The Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is an example of a best practice emergency management program that hospitals can employ to enhance their preparedness and satisfy one of the NIMS readiness objectives.

 

HICS for Healthcare Managers training course, taught by an experienced and credentialed instructor, is for hospital staff that may function in key management roles during emergencies. Held at your facility, lecture, case studies, and a facilitated tabletop exercise educate and inform personnel about the value of HICS to better manage the incident, personnel and resources during a crisis or disaster.
