Hospital Incident Command
The Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is implemented in hospitals in emergency situations to establish a clear chain of command to better maximize objectives. HICS is a standardized, all-hazard incident management system that enables hospitals to better organize resources, staff and facilities in order to remain operational during an emergency and promote the restoration of day-to-day operations.
DQE Incident Solutions® products are designed with Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) goals and strategies in mind to enhance hospital emergency preparedness and response capability. Incident Solutions includes products such as staff identification vests, HICS forms and HICS job action sheets to assist in the documentation and management of an emergency incident, HICS dry erase board and HICS easel pad to track assigned staff to various HICS organizational positions, a reference guide, and various support materials.
